  1. You do realize that you are just feeding the trolls on PSR, correct? Edit: grammar
  2. No thank you. Everyone was (is) professional and that is all that matters.
  3. This is true, but I wasn't actually using GradCafe when BFB was giving out details. The info I received from my POI was radically different (I guess he was just excited) from the BFB version of admissions, so I had no problem emailing him.
  4. You should do it (if you want closure). You already have an acceptance, so if it is bad, you won't feel totally terrible.
  5. Mine stopped working, but it is running now.
  6. Ripping off the band-aid is great because it eliminates the anxiety over that one school. However, shortly after, negative thoughts such as : "Why them, not me?,"Am I not good enough?," "Did I totally blow my chances by screwing up on that one question they asked because I couldn't handle my nerves?," "Is there something wrong with my research interests?," etc. will creep into your head and stay there for a very long time.
  7. Congrats! I've been lurking here a very long time.... so I am very happy to see a gradcafe regular get an acceptance that is well-deserved!
  8. Mine says the same. I don't think it means anything.
  9. Just a friendly reminder: If you are rejected by one school, it does not mean you will be rejected from schools X, Y, and Z. If you go and look at the SOP/Profile Thread from the 2011-2012 cycle, you will see what I mean. Also, to make myself feel better, I will be telling myself that all the schools that reject me just could not handle my awesomeness.
