My first year is officially over. Yay!! Since I am attending part time I still have three years left to go however I survived the first year and I am so proud of myself that I have made it this far. Yes, stay away from the person that is allowing herself to spiral downward. I'm sure you can understand this persons stress but its good to recognize triggers that may throw you off. I'm happy to hear that you have a solid grasp of the material on the exam, that is a good feeling. My exam has been pushed back until the week of June 8th. I am currently in one of the classes that covers content on the exam and two other classes I took last semester I need to pull out my notes and review. I have to finish this one exam then I need a few days to rest and do nothing then I will begin studying for comp exams. Best of luck, keep us posted on your results!

How are things going? I understand about the mental breakdowns before/after test. I'm hoping a few days away with some spa treatments will suffice we start the next semester.

Is it me or was the second semester of graduate school slightly tougher than the first. Anyway my comp exam got pushed back by the university so one more exam and I'm done with my first year of graduate school.

Can not assist you with a pdf copy but I did read the book before graduate school started. Have you tried the library?

It can and it will work. Will it be challenging? Yes Will there be days that you will regret your decision? Yes However keep pushing. The best advice that I can give as a person who needs a routine is try and stay ahead in your classes. Meaning do a little bit everyday. There will be days when you can't keep to your schedule life happens and we must adjust but keep some sort of schedule for your assignments so you can be sure you are on track. I make a working calendar for the entire semester. As soon as I have my syallbi I plug in all the dates etc. In addition I use an app called todoist. That has been extremely helpful giving me a focus for the day with what has to be done for school. Wishing you the best. Keep us posted throughout your journey.
