  1. Nope! Do you mind linking it to me, please? Thanks
  2. Yeah, I guess it makes more sense for the field placements to do so. Even if they do, I'm assuming they'll let you know beforehand that they will have drug screenings. Thanks for your replies + passing no judgment!
  3. Does anyone know if grad programs or internship/field placements put you through drug screening?
  4. UCLA is awful at getting back to anyone. I've e-mailed and called numerous times, and still didn't receive a response. I've been trying to reach out to them since the beginning of February, but still nothing. It's actually really pissing me off because a friend of mine was accepted when her GRE and GPA were significantly lower than mine, and she has 2 years less experience in the field. I'm itching to know why!! The least they can do is give you an explanation as to why they didn't accept you, after charging a ridiculous application fee. -___- so. annoying.
  5. For example, if someone is accepted to the graduate program but the Admissions Dept. of the University rejects them, what would be the reason?
  6. That would destroy me. When did you turn in your CSU Mentor application? I turned my in over 6 months ago, and still no response...
  7. Alright, thanks for the reply. I guess I should try to be patient. I just don't like the fact that I'm in, but not really? Idk if that makes sense hahah. This kinda sucks though..
  8. So I was accepted to a graduate program at a CSU, but I'm still waiting on receiving admissions from the university itself. I'm just wondering: is it possible to get accepted to the program, but not the university, therefore not being able to attend grad school/making the grad school admissions decision null? Thank you!
  9. Thanks so much for the response! Glad to know it's a pretty standard thing, and I can stop freaking out about it Yeah, I graduated in 2013 and sent it my transcripts back in december. Thanks for replying!
  10. What does it mean to be granted "provisional acceptance"? The letter I got mentions finishing all my units and turning in my transcripts, which I've already done. Anyone else receive something like this?
  11. I turned my application in before the priority deadline in November and still haven't heard back >__<
  12. How long did it take after submitting your application to hear back from CSUDH and CSULB?
  13. anyone hear back from cal states yet? ughhhh the anxiety...
  14. Thanks! I'm applying to a few of the Cal State MSW programs. I guess I'm just paranoid because a lot of the applicants I talked to have 4+ years of direct social work experience, and I just have experience in "related fields".
  15. Hello everyone! I sent in 2/3 applications so far, working on my last one (hoping to turn it in by late January). I'm currently freaking out and losing sleep while waiting for responses back from the two schools... Can anyone give me feedback as to whether or not I would be considered a "competitive" applicant?
