I finally heard from a professor! "I do know that no official offers have been made and I believe they are still weighing candidates." While this is great news, I already assumed that I was not accepted. Now I have to continue playing the waiting game

My application deadline was 15 January (although I had my application in by 1 December). I have heard absolutely nothing from this school. I also emailed the admissions, after a week of no response I emailed two of my POIs. Still nothing. I realize that my likelihood for admission is very low at this point but I can't imagine a school not responding with a decision. Has anybody experience this issue with a school before? There is not a section on the application page to see the status, unfortunately.

I know what you mean! One of the schools that I applied to (and the only one that I have not heard back from) has been completely silent. I even emailed admissions and my POI to see if I could get a timeline. That was a week ago and I still have not heard a word. Best of luck to you!

I emailed and got bad news. It felt good to be pro-active though. The stress of waiting was really getting to me.

I got my first rejection on Friday (my birthday ) but I wasn't too upset because it was my reach school. I'm still an anxious mess waiting to hear from my other choices!

Some of my applications still say "ready for review." Does this mean that they have not even been looked at or is this just the "phase" before decisions?

I got an email from my top choice but it was just some information about campus events. So frustrating!

I applied to 4 schools and have not heard back from any of them. I haven't seen any of the schools on the results page so maybe that's a good sign?
