Hi all,
I'm applying to Lakehead Uni. Here is my profile:
Graduated in 2015 with a Bachelors in Human Kinetics from UBC
Low gpa (approx 71%)
3 public health practicums during undergrad = approx 1 full year of public health volunteering
1 research project
3 years of paid public health work experience (in mostly health promotion/community health programs) since graduating
Strong references: 2 professors and 1 employer
Any one else been accepted into a MPH program with a low gpa? Hoping that my work experience and extra curricular will make up for my low grades. Good luck to all and congratulations to those who have already heard back from the programs they've applied to!
