I don't think thats true since UT and Tamu have top 10 endowments ad their programs are nowhere on this ranking.

It was previously ranked 17 and has only added faculty so the drop makes no sense.

Tamu not ranked in American? That is very suspicious.

Minor field in methods (quantitative only) will do worlds difference for your competitiveness.

Excellent, we are on opposite sides of TAMU's specialty in IR and Methods. I want to work with formal modeling and statistical analysis to look at political economy as a determinant or factor in interstate war. I also want to look at economic coercion. Now any TAMU adcomm reading this knows exactly who I am...
