  3. Awesome! Do you know if there is a facebook group yet?
  4. I am worried about this too! I am no sprung chicken. I am currently married and hope to have kids and buy a house within five years or so after finishing graduate school. I was accepted to an out of state college that will likely leave me in $90,000 in debt and waitlisted to an in-state school (which costs much less!) Not sure what I should do either. Thinking about cutting my losses and reapplying next year.... One thing that I have learned from all of this is to DO YOUR RESEARCH before applying. I definitely did not do this. Best of luck in your journey, Speech19!
  5. Hello everyone! Long time lurker, first time poster. I was recently accepted to UCF, but I am an out of state resident. How difficult is it to obtain funding for this program? I looked at their cost of attendance, and it is $1194 a credit hour. That is a lot, especially since it is a 72 credit hour program! I also considered attending for a year and then applying for Florida residency. However, I called their office and was told that this was hard to do. I was hoping that UCF was one of those schools that would provide an out-of-state waiver to their students, but sadly, they are not. Please help me decide! I found out yesterday and the deadline for me to accept is Monday. I have no other acceptances so far, but I am still waiting to hear back from one more school. I knew that I was going to have to borrow money for graduate school, but I am not sure if I am comfortable with borrowing $85000 over the course of two years (it is a six semester program). Any insight is appreciated! Thank you!
