My GRE score is nowhere near where I want it to be. However, I'm not nearly as stressed about that as I am about the SOP. How personal are people making it? I know it's a statment of purpose not a personal statement but I feel like I'm just telling my story. Plus, other than samples online I've never really read a real one. Any suggestions? Words of wisdom?
