  1. Csariego, why do you say you have received zero funding? Funding decisions are not all out yet, in fact none of the MPhil ones have been announced by the Trust yet. Have you not ticked the box on the application saying you wish to be considered for the Trust's graduate funding competition?
  2. @ThaĆs Carlo Actually not all Trust Scholarships take into consideration the candidate's financial situation. The Vice Chancellor and International Scholarship (fully funded + stipend for PhD) are only based on merit, and given to the highest ranked applicants across the entire university. You can see this here. And about 120 of those have already been offered this year, you can see the list here. But there are some other postgraduate scholarships, who are maybe not fully funded that look at applicants' financial conditions. You can read more about that here and here. Goodluck everyone!
  3. I'm rejected at Princeton too. And Columbia, although they haven't sent out the decisions yet. Time to start thinking of an alternative life plan
  4. Did anyone try contacting Columbia or princeton regarding dates? How come masters are out but not PhDs?
  5. Im also rejected, Harvard, but knew from last week when those accepted posted about it. Waiting on Columbia, Princeton, MIT still... But masters are starting to come out, which I guess is not very good news...
  6. Nothing here still! I wonder if those who posted their acceptance to GSD applied for a PhD or a DDes. I guess we don't have to wait too much longer for the rest...
  7. Congrats anfisa! Did you also hear back from Harvard?
  8. Yes Cm and anfisa, was referring to Berkeley. Didn't see any of the acceptances only 5 rejections on the results page, including me.
  9. Its killing me too! How many do you guys think apply for HTC PhD? I am wondering why there are only three of us in this forum
  10. Hi citizencities, My friend who also submitted her financial aid docs for Harvard on feb 6 also got a personal email thanking her and letting her know they would contact her if they needed anything else. She was also surprised. So I wouldn't read much into it. It sounds like it is the exact same email with just your name changed at the top, and probably big schools/websites have ways of sending out mass emails with same body and different greeting I guess? Goodluck anyway!!
  11. Oh good!! So for architecture, I guess they don't do interviews? It would make sense as none of the websites mention anything about that. I only skyped with one professor and it went so badly (in my opinion) that I decided not to contact anyone else after that. I have applied for History and Theory, and only submitted a portfolio to Yale, because they required one. I sent writing samples to the rest. My GRE results were mediocre too, especially writing, because I cannot write a dumb essay with made up examples, and I was thinking that surely a PhD committee wouldn't really rely on a meaningless test like that to evaluate applicants. But I think, if given all the other application materials the committee was hesitant between two applicants, they would maybe refer to the GRE scores to set them apart. I think i'm going to stop thinking about this for now and just wait! Goodluck to you!
