Took myself off the wait list at Purdue and Texas A&M (both Ph.D.). Hope this helps someone.

I'll be attending Boston University.

I didn't apply to U.Pitt, but I've been to Pittsburgh and I think it's the most awesome city I've been to in the US. Cheap living, great food, good public transportation, beautiful city, and nice people.

I'm visiting BU next week. Very excited!

How much funding did UCSD offer? They were one of my top choices, but I was rejected.

Same. I am the perfect fit there also.

I've seen a few people say they've been rejected from Columbia, but I haven't heard from them. Thus they haven't told me I'm on a wait list. Should I expect a rejection? I'm in the same situation with Toronto, but I've seen more people get admissions offers from them back in February.

Same. I really want to work under LD on Berkeley and Malebranche.

Does anyone know about Ohio State related to a wait list? I've been waiting ages to hear back from them (they were one of my top two choices when I sent out my applications), and can't tell whether they even have a wait list, or whether they let people know? So far I've been admitted to BU and wait listed at Purdue (seems like a ton of people are wait listed there) and Texas A&M (will likely decline).
