Does anyone here know how feasible it is to attend a Masters in Germany and finance it with any sort of part time student job. Is it doable to find a job quickly enough once I arrive there to pay for living expenses while I study? Maybe somebody in this forum has done the same thing?
Thanks in advance for any feedback -

Yeah although idk how hard it is to find a job as a student there...specially since my German is rather basic(essentially all i know i have taught myself with rosetta stone over the past 5 months). I have applied to University of Hamburg, Mannheim, Freiburg and LMU. I will go to wherever i get in, but if i could pick, I would go to LMU. It is a great school and also Munich is the closest to where my GF lives in St.Gallen, Switzerland.

I currently have a temporary job. I get 3 month long assignments and at the end of each 3 months i get extended if they like my work and if they still need me so that works fine with the whole uncertainty of the DAAD. Since I just got a contract renovated until June 30th it works out well with this whole situation since I think most schools start later than that anyways.

Well i applied for the Master's study scholarship as that is the only thing I am really interested in and did not get it. This is only available once a year so I can only apply for one for the fall of 2016 which is depressingly far away.
