  1. PM me if you would still like to make one. I can be the second person ? I still have not heard from ISU! I am really curious even though I don't plan on going there (tuition is pretty outrageous when I read the fine print).
  2. Go for it! It will be nice to connect with others in the cohort!
  3. Mine has been updated to 'conditionally accepted.'
  4. I've committed to UNC's Online cohort! It was my first choice, so when I received my acceptance I knew I would accept. In regards to funding, most online programs (which I only applied to with the exception of Boulder) are self-funded; therefore, they do not have scholarships or anything for their distance learners. This made my choice a bit easier after considering tuition, duration of the program, and how long I would have to be at each campus in the summer.
  5. I'm honestly not sure. I thought they sent out all notifications already (though I could be very wrong). Have you tried to contact Nicole Reisfeld? She has been very helpful, and she will most likely have the answer to your question.
  6. I received my official acceptance letter in the mail yesterday. Included in the envelope are the instructions on what to do next (accept/decline, setting up the e-mail exc.), an orange form which you mail back to the university, your student id# (Bear #), what your email address is, and a couple freebies (decal and magnet). In terms of information specifically about the program, there isn't anything. It seems like you receive more once you accept your spot and then send your transcripts. I'll try to keep you posted. I sent my acceptance to them today via snail mail.
  7. I was waitlisted third tier at PSU last year. Honestly, I would say don't bother especially if you do have other options, but it's ultimately up to you. They do not keep their waitlist for very long whereas other universities will keep theirs up until the start of the program. I received a formal rejection in early June.
  8. I have been feeling the same way! I was trying to compare all the distance programs I applied to in order to determine the best fit, and I noticed there was a lot of missing or glossed over information on their websites. UNC's website was the most informative, in my opinion, but still left me with questions.
  9. I took my CSD prereqs through CSUSM's online cohort, and I really enjoyed it. As Agrippina mentioned you do have to be very self-motivated, organised, and willing to ask questions through more non-traditional ways (email, phone exc) since office hours are not really an option. Because of my experience with online learning, I chose to pursue my masters through a distance program. I plan on attending Northern Colorado's online program starting in the Fall If you have more questions, feel free to PM me.
  10. I am highly considering accepting their offer. I am fortunate enough to already work under an SLP in a school, but there are still a lot of unanswered questions (at least for me). I also noticed the typo, so I'd really appreciate if you could share what they say! I figured they meant Fall 2016 instead of summer since it is a requirement for the duration of the program and we do not officially start until then. Well, I am going to hope that's the case because we're not working the summer :/ I'm also wondering what would happen in the event your supervisor leaves the site? Do we just use the new SLP or are SOL? I'm glad I found this forum post since it seems most were accepted to the residential program on here!
  11. I was beginning to think I was the only one as well! Good luck to you as well!
  12. Still waiting to hear back from ENMU, UNCO, Idaho State, and Wyoming. The waiting this season has been intense for me. I really wish it was over!
  13. I was wondering if anyone received an e-mail from the program confirming that they received your application? I was going through my e-mails to see if I received one (wanted to see when they would release decisions) when I noticed I never received confirmation that they received my application. I'm kind of worried now. Should I contact the department?
