I am SO frustrated at Embark. It had me edit last year's unfinished application for the 2018-19 cycle, up until last week. Today (campus deadline), I cannot access any part of what I already filled in, and it tells me to start over under a new account. I have been uploading eleven video clips (totaling 50-minutes) since 2pm and it is now 11pm. Around 10:30pm, it finally finished uploading and was in the process of converting, when it suddenly logged me out. When I logged back in, I had to start the uploading all over again. I was using Chrome on a Mac and also tried with Safari. I sat in front of my computer and did not let it go to sleep, yet Embark kept logging me out when the upload was almost over.

I don't have any more nails to bite, but I gnaw on them anyway...

Someone deleted all 2015-16 Study/Research applicants' data. Only the ETAs are listed. Does anyone have a back up of this data? If so, thanks in advance for fixing this major blunder.

Hi, hang in there. I am going insane as well, and have to force myself to move on. I was offered a big discount to a summer program that may overlap slightly with Fulbright dates, and couldn't commit to any plane tickets yet. Because we'd take the Fulbright offer in a heartbeat (whenever it may be!), it's making other decisions very difficult. The huge IFs are really complicating our lives, and I think we may need to go on with the more concrete choices.

Yes, cloudysky16! I was losing my mind for the last two weeks, pondering and worrying about 29834792835 different possibilities that could have caused my delay. It turned out to be the simplest reason: Arts candidates for Germany were decided separately this year. I was just told yesterday that I am an alternate... More ambiguity, hurray. (Actually, I think this is best for me at the moment, because I spent a whole month biting my nails about the Fulbright when I should have been finishing my dissertation. If I was selected, I'd probably be so ecstatic and spend all the time searching for housing and attempt all 7868576923874 things to do to prepare for the move, thus effectively avoiding my real work to do. On the other hand, if I received NS, I would be miserable and sleep all day. Yes, I know I have problems; I am working on that...) aww, meowsica...
