I’m pretty sure it goes in round. Like the first round everybody gets two reviewers and then they decide who goes to the next round with a new set of people reviewing and so on. So if you only got two reviewers your application didn’t make it past the first round. ??‍♀️ That’s my assumption based on the number people say they had reviewing.

Yea That as me last year. Out of five reviewers, only one gave me a fair for work history whereas everyone else gave very goods and excellent. I'm like I've been working fulltime since undergrad both in and out of my field, while going to school and managed to get 4.0s for my masters and a 3.8 while doing PhD. What else did you expect me to do? Not sleep the little I did?

Awards are out. I just found out I got it!

I didn't have an issue with the verification page but I had one reviewer rate my academic achievement as fair when everyone else rated it very good and I have a suspicion that this is why I'm an alternate. It's for the dissertation award and we had 5 reviewers. I'm seriously like what more else could I have done in regards to academic achievement. I can't go back and fix my freshman year of college but I have two degrees and working on the third, several awards, and several entries for employment that is research and teaching related.

So why even apply? Surely there's someone else that could have benefited from recieving an honorable mention. Thought the criteria for selection was being apart of a under represented group in academia. Guess that just mean the values of the ford foundation aren't what they say they are.

This was me being optimistic. I'm sure that (solciology/geography) was from yesterday 3/23/2015. I've checked periodically today and no one has updated anything about anymore acceptances, alternatives or rejections. Theres quite a few of us waiting I'm sure someone would've gotten a rejection and let it be known, right? But who knows what's going on. It seems to be a different but vaguely similar process over the past few years.

Nope, doesn't seem like anything came out today. Maybe the email sender outer called in sick today :/
