Accepted to Penn State! As someone with social anxiety, I feel particulary pleased that I survived the phone call without managing to scream or forget how to form sentences. Thanks so much to folks who gave phone call tips earlier in the thread; it was really helpful.

I believe I posted my initial acceptance (University of Louisville) in the wrong board (oops ), but as I've now located the correct venue: accepted to OSU and UW-Madison as well! For anyone who may be keeping track, I'm a Rhet/Comp applicant currently in an MA program. My undergraduate institution is a small liberal arts college just outside of Columbus, so OSU and its campus definitely have a special place in my heart. Congratulations to everyone who's gotten good news in the last couple of days! It certainly seems that the decision period is starting with a bang!

Longtime lurker, first time posting... Accepted to University of Louisville (English--Rhetoric and Composition)! I was absolutely not expecting to hear from them so early, so the email took me completely by surprise. I'm very pleased though! Now back to being on pins and needles until OSU starts sending offers...
