  1. I'm interested in finding out the same thing. I was lucky enough to be offered a full-ride, but one of my qualms is a lack of PhD program at GPS. According to their website, they only accept one or two PhD students each year. For this reason, I'm considering a similar offer at LBJ where they have an established PhD program, and, as they like to boast, "are a tier-1 research school."
  2. Hi @mapiau I echo what @aqua123 said. Thank you for providing such detailed insight into GPS. Do you have any experience with the grad housing? In the limited information I've found online, I've seen mixed reviews. They seemed to be subsidized at a significant rate, making them quite attractive. I saw in a thread from years past that it's not a bad idea to jump on the waiting list ASAP. Any feedback would be appreciated! Thanks!
  3. I can't speak directly to the MPSA program, but I can tell you that the MIA program is designed as a professional degree, meaning that it's not geared towards those looking to go into academia and pursue a PhD. The MIA program doesn't even offer undergraduate or PhD degrees. I declined my admission/fellowship offer from TAMU. I attended their interview conference, and while I was impressed with the school, I wasn't impressed with the caliber of the potential cohort. Also, College Station is truly in the middle of nowhere and quality of life was limited at best. Hope this help!
  4. I received an email notifying me that I was admitted on 3/7 and then I received an email with my fellowship information on 3/13.
  5. Congrats, @boanthropy and @gelatinskeleton ! May I ask if you applied before the Dec. 1 priority deadline? I applied on Jan. 14, and on Feb. 16 I received an email stating that I have been admitted and am being considered for a possible fellowship. What was your timeline like? Again, congratulation!
