haven't experienced it but I know someone who did. She said it was not too stressful. Again, this is only her experience (2nd hand info) and I remember they showed her some images of well known artworks to test her knowledge. This probably wasn't much help but I thought I would share!

ha! Thanks! Had to think of something quick. Good luck to you! I did this weird thing where I didn't tell anyone I was applying (besides my parents). I just felt that too much noise would not be good for me personally.

Hey friends! Just joined. I looked over the past AH threads and they seemed to have been much more active! What's going on this year? Where is everyone? Anyway, applied to 8 schools. Funny thought about the GRE: While I was studying I was thinking, I really hope these scores don't matter too much, stupid standardized testing, this isn't a fair way to measure ability, this sucks, etc. When the exam was over and the weight of months of studying, anxiety, opting out of plans with friends, prepping, etc. was over, I was thinking...this exam BETTER count for something! Ha! Come out wherever you are, art historians! Best of luck to all.
