@TakeruK @fuzzylogician ok, another question--on my original app I had asked for it to be sent to another department for review in the event that I was rejected from the original dept. Well, I was rejected. The rejection email did not indicate anything about the app being forwarded. Do they automatically do that? Or do they select at their will? Ahhh so many questions. thank you! -

officially nervous. bunch of other people posted unofficial calls from their POI this week. I did not get one. I believe my POI is on leave if that makes a difference, her faculty profile says on leave 16-17. Just wondering if admins/people who have been through this before can put me out of my misery. thx.

Today I received a package in the mail. It said "university" so I freaked out. Looked closer and it was some random MA program solicitation. Ugh. 21k for 15 months in Rome if anyone's interested.

hi all! this is re: Chapel Hill First, big congrats to the UNC chapel hill admit & interview posted this week! After viewing the results postings, I logged into my UNC app and was scrolling around to see if there was any newly posted info. I casually clicked "view application proof" and scrolled through it and noticed that none of my supplemental documents were there. No writing sample, no CV, no personal statement. It was just the actual application. Now I'm a little on edge because I have never seen this before. Can any one who applied to UNC check their app and possibly put me at ease? I feel like the overall checklist is shorter since last I checked in December. Really hoping this is a glitch. Feel free to private message me if you don't feel like posting. Thanks in advance.

ohhhhh my god the wait is killing me. Has anyone seen any good movies lately? Suggestions: In theaters: Nocturnal Animals, Lion Classics: any off beat/lesser known Hitchcock film. They're weird and super interesting. Waiting sucks! I remember last year, Fridays were always a big day for decisions.
