Omg I LOVE this thread and I love all of you! I am from the art history cohort but I am transferring here if you will have me. All of my schools have posted some sort of admit/waitlist/interview/phone call and I have received nothing aside from two rejections. Cool! On Friday I was in a state of mourning and then Saturday and Sunday I let it go. I feel that if anything favorable happens at this point, it's just a bonus. I could also be swimming in the river of 'de Nile. Who cares. Thanks for this thread.

ps- this is not to say that those who applied to many are wrong! I am just pointing out the strength in applying to few.

@therealdealpikkel I wouldn't worry too much...my mentor strongly encouraged me to only apply to 5 schools and he had even round-tabled that idea with his colleagues, who all agreed. In the end it is about the fit. It sounds like you narrowed and focused your apps which is probably for the best. I went ahead and submitted more than 5 but not by much.

congrats @mxborder! Can any of the Harvard admits offer any details? Areas of interest or POIs or stats, etc? Just out of curiosity. If not, totally understandable! Just super curious. CONGRATS again!!

Also, wondering if anyone has had contact with Michigan. funny side note: I started checking my spam folder regularly and OMG ... the weird emails that I had no idea existed in the universe... the internet has come a long way from "Nigerian kings" looking for money, ha!

congrats to the poster who heard back from U of Mich! Anyone else hear back? No news on my end.

@atrevidinha I would try contacting the department to see if the recommender can send it to an email address instead. I had an issue uploading at a different school and the office lady had my writer just email her and from there she attached it to my app. Hope this helps!

do you log into your apps too? it's like a weird compulsion. I know there won't be anything there. I just have to.
