I'm kind of in a similar situation but not completely. my school has a deadline of jan. 1 but i talked to 2 people who submitted after the deadlines and both got interviews really early while i'm still waiting for an interview that's never going to come. lol. i don't think there's anything wrong with emailing admissions. but email the school in general where grad admission inquiries usually go and not someone specific or the department itself.

i am going crazy! i haven't heard anything yet either but I really feel that i'm rejected already since I haven't gotten any interview emails yet. I just wish they'd send me that heartbreaking inevitable rejection letter now instead of waiting until march. *sigh*

I applied for fashion design. It's so stressful waiting for an email. I really hope they reach out to us soon. Is parsons your first choice?

Hi!! I applied at Parsons too and haven't heard anything as well. So much silence on their end. Anyway, I checked the requirements of industrial design and it seems that interviews aren't required for your program so you should still be safe. My program requires interviews for all finalists so I'm already feeling like I got rejected. Good luck to us!

the silence in my inbox is defeaning. I just took on more work so I have something to focus on and distract myself from looking at my disappointing inbox and hear the shattering sound of my dreams breaking on another interview invite-less day. lol. and it's almost 5am again and I didn't sleep a wink. I don't think I'll be able to sleep properly until March.

I keep telling myself that "no news is good news" but it's hard to convince myself when I know they request interviews for all finalists. I want that interview so bad which is surprising for me cause I have social anxiety and will probably bomb the interview but I would like the chance I guess. Haha. I guess I really just have to wait. The self-doubt is crippling. I think I'll start writing down my plan B so I can start tackling things right now if this grad school thing doesn't work out and I could feel productive somehow. I will try writing good things about my day too and maybe it will ease my spiral of doom. Lol

Aw. Sorry to hear about your colleague. I'm kind of spiraling right now too. I don't have the energy to work, and I'm just holed up in my room all day. I'm freelance so I work on my own time but the anxiety is getting to me. I am kind of isolating myself lately, I think I need fresh air. Too much netflix is bad. Lol

Hi guys, I need advice. Should I email the school and ask if they sent out interview invitations to the finalists of my program yet or just wait it out? I'm getting super anxious. I don't know if I should just wait for a rejection email or an interview email that may never come. Ahhhhh! It's 3am my time. I'm going crazy. Lol

I will try my best to look at the bright side but applying to this program was definitely a reach for me. It's also my fault for not giving myself more time in perfecting my portfolio. I really really hope we hear some good news. I hope we will all be studying in our dream schools come fall 2016 lol

I have no back up plan right now so that's frustrating for me. I don't know what to do. I really need to start thinking of plan b-z soon. Lol Someone posted about getting an interview on the results page and 2 others posted about getting interviews on another thread but different programs so I'm still holding out a little bit of hope but I've also talked myself into accepting that I might've been rejected already. All the masters programs in my school had the same January 1 deadline so I think they're sending out interviews and acceptances at the same time. According to the website they have interviews for all finalists of my program so if I don't get an interview soon I'm going to go ahead and assume I'm not a finalist and definitely rejected. I'm giving myself until the end of the week to be positive. It's driving me crazy.

Lol! So far I'm just trying to minimize email checking. But now that I know someone got an interview invite last Thursday and Yesterday, I'm checking my email every hour. ? The slow elevators are the worst things about living in a big building. Lol. There was a time we had elevator problems, it automatically stopped on every floorrrr! From ground floor to the 36th floor, it took forever! Haha

Oh, Philippines is southeast. Lol. Korea I guess is just east? Haha

I think there's like 38 floors in total in that building lol. I got out of there fast after graduating haha. I didn't get student housing so the buildings I stayed at aren't school owned but they're just walking distance from the school.

Haha you're correct, I'm in Asia, Philippines to be exact. Lol. I'm not sure about Korea's timezone but I'm 13 hours ahead of east coast time. Haha. I don't keep up much with kpop (I only like Taeyang lol) but I used to watch kdramas a lot. I might be doing that again soon since I'm becoming insomniac again thanks to grad school application. Lol.

@gingin6789I hope they get your ceiling fixed soon. I remember my undergrad apartment leaked through the walls whenever it rains. It's like a horror movie with sticky wet walls but thankfully it's not blood coming out of the walls, just dirty water. Lol! I lived in the 18th floor and there was no window anywhere near the part where it usually leaks so that was frustrating for a bit. I moved to a different building eventually and I was on the 36th floor but the ceiling on the foot of my bed leaks when it rains too. I tried to get maintenance to fix it but it took them forever. I had to move my bed every time it rains. The worst part is when it rains at night while I'm asleep and when I wake up in the morning my feet are cold and wet and my mattress is soaked with water. ?
