If I get accepted to gradschool I wish I could take even just one of my dogs with me but it's unlikely cause I would most likely live on campus and I'd have to move from a different country. I can't imagine leaving them for 2 years. my babies! lol! @rhombusbombuswhat kind of dog do you have? Lucky you, you get to take your dog! I'm jealous! lol

@Pink Fuzzy BunnyI'm sure you'll be able to make it work. I've never had a pet cat before, do they get restless if the space is small? the closest I ever got to cats was playing this app called Neko Atsume where you leave food and toys for different cats and you collect pictures of them. lol

My oldest dog follows me around everywhere I go. lol! He sleeps beside me on the bed every night. The 2nd one would sleep under my bed and the rest (I have 8 dogs in total) would sleep outside my door. Sometimes I let 3 sleep on my bed with me. They're so fun to snuggle with!

speaking of chocolate, I've been eating white chocolate peppermint all day long. So basically my days are just me snuggled in bed with my dogs while watching netflix and eating chocolates. But according to results page, Parsons will be sending out invites soon. I'm getting nervous. :/

Wow! It's one of those days. Just try to sleep it off. When I have those days I just stay in bed and hide under the sheets. I'm sure tomorrow will be a better day. But why is that guy sabotaging you?

Hello did anybody here apply to MFA fashion programs?

I know exactly what you mean regarding knowing the results and planning for the future. I have only 1 school in my belt so if I mess up it's over for me, at least until the next application period. lol! I really should've applied to more than 1 school but no other program interests me. Most of the fashion MFA in other schools are focused on either just design or just business. I want both, like an interdisciplinary fashion MFA thing and this is the only one that has it so far. And yes! Those clients that think they know better than us designers, sometimes I just want to throw my sewing machine at them and tell them if they think they know better than me then why don't they do it themselves. lol.

lol! I am close to dropping her like a lump of hot coal. I don't know what's up with her lately and she's really difficult to get a hold off. She's messaging me using 2 facebook accounts and 1 viber, and she would answer my facebook message on viber, and ignore my viber messages, and and answer my other facebook message on her other facebook account. so annoying! -_-"

Can I rant something not gradschool app. related here? I am going crazyyy!!! I have the worst client in the world right now. I want to drop her already. We aren't seeing eye to eye on the project and she's trying to control me too much when the fact is she hired me because she specifically wants me to be the designer for the project but now she's always interfering about everything and acting like she knows how to do my job and she won't give me my freedom to work because she always has something to complain about. ugh!! :/ Still no news on the gradschool front for me though so that's another frustration. but congratulations to everyone who has been accepted!!

hi everyone i have a question, do you think it's weird for me to reach out to alumni or current students of the program i'm applying for? i have been looking for people to talk to about my program but I feel alone cause no one seems to be applying to my school or my program. lol. I'm just wondering if it's stalkerish if I just randomly facebook message an alumni and asking about the school and program. What do you guys think?

I'm sure you'll get into other programs soon. on a side note, I don't know if I'm the only one here doing it but do you guys ever look are the admitted student portion on the website of the programs you applied to even though you don't have results yet? I feel like reading it even though I'm not sure if I'll get accepted. lol.

I have 8 playful dogs here at home right now. no one ever wants to visit. lol.

I think I'll need pepper spray in my bags and drawers when I live on campus. lol

@piglet33that kind of scares me. i plan to live in student housing if i get accepted and i've read about roommate pulling knives on roommates. it's the first time i'm going to live on campus if i get accepted so i'm worried. also that roommate who forced himself into your room is scary AF!

ohhhh!! I remember a story when I saw a dead rat in the garage while I was cleaning it. we lived in a house in the suburbs and I was renting a room kind of like an airbnb but long term. anyway the rat died from what i assumed to being trapped there with tons of boxes and other stuff over the years (she was hoarder and the garage was hell.) lol. it kind of looked like a stuffed toy rat and I just swept it and threw it in the garbage pile. she grabbed it with her hand and said, "oh look at this stuffed toy, why are you throwing it away?" my jaw just dropped when she held the dead rat on her hand.

parks and rec, friends, elementary, how to get away with murder, brooklyn nine-nine, master of none. so far those are the ones that come to mind. but currently i'm rewatching that 70s show.

I lived with someone similar to your Brooklyn roommate but in LA but she refills the TP and washes dishes so it's not as bad. The food thing though was a major issue, she would leave donuts on the couch for weeks until it's filled with ants. expired food on the pantry and fridge, live cockroaches living in the microwave, dirty pans and baking trays placed inside kitchen cabinets straight after use, there was even one time she accidentally dropped a plate on the kitchen floor and just left it there. she barely cleans and on my first morning there (I arrived the night before) i thought we got robbed because when i went into the living room everything was in disarray, apparently that's just how she lives everyday. it's crazy!!

ohhh! I get it now. it seems complicated. i feel like you kind of have to declare it but if you're accepted already maybe you don't have to. but i dont really know how PhD programs work because I applied to an MFA program so I'm not the best to give advice on that matter. sorry

Hello! Did anybody here apply to parsons?

Did you declare your MSc program on your application? If you did then won't you be required to submit a transcript from that school? I'm not sure how PhD applications work but weren't you required to submit an unofficial transcript during application period or did you just submit your undergrad?
