I can't find much on here about my program either so I'm also kind of hoping that means less applicants, less competition, and more chances to get a slot into the program. lol!

Ohhh!! I get it know! Thank you for the explanation Now I kind of wished we had rolling admissions on my program so I can this waiting over and done with. lol

I get you! I spent so much time on my SOI just obsessively rereading and rewriting it that I actually memorized it already. lol. But because I spent so much time on that I had little time to really get everything I wanted to do done on my portfolio. It's driving me crazy knowing I could've done more.

I'm actually not 100% sure if mine is rolling admissions because they did say and emphasized that the deadline is Jan. 1st but they also said they would still review applications submitted after that but their results would come in on later dates. Does that mean it's rolling?

My letter writers actually submitted their letters approximately 3 weeks before I submitted my application (lol!!!) because I was nagging them to death to submit already. I kind of told them I'm submitting in a few days so they would hurry up. haha! For some reason though the admission page wrote it down as having been received on Dec. 29th but it was already included on my file weeks before. Oh well, I'm good with that as long as it got there before the deadline.

@haltheincandescent I've been having a recurring dream lately too. I keep dreaming about this certain mall food court. LOL I know it's so weird but for some reason it's a recurring venue but completely different dreams every time. I also don't think that food court exists in real life. LOL. So far no school dreams yet. I will probably get those later the nearer it gets to March. Oh, by the way, just out of curiosity, how near to the deadline did you guys submit your applications? My deadline being January 1, I submitted on Dec. 28th and according to the application checklist they received my LORs on Dec. 29th. So near the cut off and I'm thinking and being paranoid at the same time if the nearness of the submission to the deadline affects the overall application? It's almost 3am here so my paranoia is creeping up to me again. How near or how early did you guys submit yours?

So far I haven't had an admissions dream, but I did dream about my teeth falling off during application period. It's such a common dream but it was the first time I ever dreamt of it. Lately I've been stress eating chocolate cookies and drinking a lot of caramel macchiatos and iced tea while watching romcoms on netflix and now I just got caught up with american horror story. I also can't sleep lately. Since I submitted my application I've been sleeping around 4 or 5am. I just lay in bed for hours waiting to fall asleep and when I check the time it's suddenly morning and then I have to get ready for the day already. I think I'm really going to pack a lot of pounds by March 15th. I have never been to Machu Picchu but I once did dream about trekking the Inca trails.

@Pink Fuzzy Bunny @anthrostudentcyn Thanks for the welcome I'm just glad to be here where I have someone to freak out with. I've been either checking my email or checking gradcafe results page every few hours. All the waiting is making me stress eat.

Hello I'm new here and I am so glad to find a forum that understands all my feelings. I submitted my application last dec. 28 for a jan. 1 deadline. I wish I had found this forum sooner. I'm an international student so it was only after I discovered this forum and read a lot of threads did it dawn on me the reality of how unbelievably competitive it is to get into grad school and now I feel I should've put in even more effort on my portfolio. I'm applying for an MFA and according to the admissions page of my program they will start sending out results around March 15. It's still 2 months away and I can't breathe. I hope I did enough to get into the program. Anybody here also applying for an MFA?

Hi! I'm new here and I'm glad I found this forum. Just wondering if there are any Fall 2016 Parsons MFA applicants here? The waiting is excruciating. I've been refreshing my email every few hours since I submitted my application last December. Also I would like to ask if there are any current or former Parsons MFA students here, how long did it take before they gave you an answer? Have you ever been accepted without having to do an interview? To all applicants, I hope we all get favorable results.
