I'm on the verge of a breakdown. No interview emails on my inbox. ?

Oh man. Just saw in a thread someone got an interview invite for my school yesterday and a few days ago but not the same program. It's making me nervous since I didn't get anything. ?

My best friend got accepted into her choice school and she's already moving on Friday. I'm happy for her but at the same time I'm so stressed and slightly depressed because I have nothing yet. I haven't even told her I applied to grad school. I actually barely told anyone unless it's necessary. So far the only people that know are my siblings, my mom, my brother's gf, 4 friends and my recommenders. I couldn't tell my best friend yet cause it's her moment so I just want to be happy for her.

My mom is strangely optimistic that I would get in but my brother told me not to expect. Right now I'm thinking I won't get in but I'm really hoping I do. So confused. Lol.

Yessss! Lol. I was looking at the results page again earlier, I saw they notified one person for interview on a sunday 2 years ago. Lol!

Yeah it's just a light hearted sitcom so I enjoy it since I really don't think much when I watch it. Haha. Perfect for when I shut down the nagging grad app results on my brain ?

I'm just on episode 5. Lol. I only started yesterday cause I just finished watching all 8 seasons of that 70s show then I started watching the first season again so I was like, I need a break from the 70s. Lol!

I am currently watching Jessica Jones at 2am to keep myself sane during Februgatory. If my program will follow last year's interview invitation emails, according to the results page they should be sending out invites on Monday. How to survive this weekend and how to survive this month if I don't get an interview invitation? Ahhhhhh!!!!

I am going crazy waiting for results right now. The nearer it is to march,the more I feel like I am getting rejected. ??

Yes same!!!! Hahaha. When someone calls my phone I just ignore it cause in my mind if it's important they'll send me a message. Unless of course it's family calling then I have to answer lol

Oh gosh! I have the social skills of a tree stump too! I hate phone calls and video calls and get social anxiety before meeting up with someone even my friends. I am so unbelievably awkward lol!

lol! make sure you get good natural light! haha! Sometimes I also feel that my subconscious is sassier than me in real life too. lol! I'm a heavy sleeper so I don't have a lot of lucid dreams unless I drink coffee a few hours before bedtime or I'm super anxious about something and can't stop thinking about it. haha! I'm hoping I won't end up seeing slenderman on my skype interview if I get invited to an interview. lol!

I'm in Fashion Design and it seems like I'm the only one in this industry at gradcafe. lol! There's no thread, nobody responded when I made one, nobody responded when I asked the MFA thread. I feel alloooone. lol! thanks for the link, I will check it out right now! I don't know if my laptop speakers died but is there no sound coming out of the video? I already set the volume on the loudest it can go but nothing?

I'm getting nervous about interviews too. My deadline was January 1 and according to gradcafe results my program will send out interviews around the 9th (Feb) and the results most likely will be out around March 15. Aaaah!!! I should've applied to safety schools but this is the only school and only program I wanted. I should prepare myself to the possibility of a next cycle cause I'm really bad at interviews.

I only applied to one school as well!! It feels like trying to find a needle in a haystack since there's an added pressure into trying to get into that 1 program. good luck to us! I feel like I might have another cycle in the next application season too. I hooope we don't have to! I hope we get into our programs soon.

hahaha! it's cool! I was laughing at myself too when I woke up again a few hours later. I was thinking to myself, "well, I don't care about you slenderman! I'm gonna turn on my ipad and ignore you." lol! Do you think the adcom people are manifesting in our dreams as 1 person? lol. My friend said I might have been dreamt about waking up and seeing slenderman but I was able to send a message to another friend around 545am telling her about seeing slenderman so I know I definitely did pick up my ipad at that point. lol!

I think I'm having a bad case of application anxiety. lol. I woke up at 5:30am and I think I went on a hypnogogia hallucination cause I thought I saw a fuzzy, squiggly silhouette of a clown (I don't know why I know it's a clown, I just seem to know it) and slenderman watching me in my room. I turned on my ipad, hugged my dog and just hid under the covers until I fell asleep. lol! I was too afraid to stand up and turn on the light so I used my ipad as a light source.

I get you! Ugh! I've been too lazy to do anything lately. It's just, I think I placed all my faith in my future in my grad school application and if I don't pass I think I'm just lost. :/ What a cutie! I appreciate looking at cute cat pictures but I'm definitely a dog person through and through. lol
