The final college transcripts only shows because I'm assuming you're still in your undergrad. They will send you a decision without it. Mine said the same thing and I received my acceptance. I just need to send in my transcripts when my degree is posted before a deadline that's in October. Don't worry
Sure. 3.5 GPA with 6 months internship experience with older adults.
My references were from a professor from my university, program director and head social worker at my internship site.
Hope it helps. Sending good vibes your way
Just in case anyone is interested, I had my interview with CSUF on 4/7 and my portal showed that I have been accepted today although I haven't received a formal email yet. Good luck to everyone else still waiting!
Also, who else will be attending CSUF in the fall for the 2-year program?
Do you remember what it used to say on your portal before it said that you were accepted? And was it in application status or the accept/decline portion?
No. I was never put on a pending status just got a rejection. Every time I checked through the portal, it said that it was in departmental review until I got an email about the rejection.
The interview lasted about 15 minutes. They asked me the same questions as everyone else. I didn't ask them when we would hear but from everything I've seen on here it should take about 2 weeks.
I had my interview yesterday with CSUF. I was really confident walking out of the interview, I thought it went REALLY well.
Also, I got a rejection from CSULB today (which I was kind of expecting given my lack of experience).
Thank you so much! This really did help me. They covered most of the same questions on my end and it was much more relaxed than I was expecting. Fingers crossed to hear back soon
What sort of questions did you ask them?
I'm sure you did great! From what I've read with other applicants, it typically takes them two weeks after the interview to get back to you with a decision. You're almost there!!
Hi guys, I have my interview tomorrow with CSUF. Any last minute pointers? What kind of questions did you ask them in return? What should I expect?
Anything would be an immense help, I think I'm really freaking out lol
I got the same email from them today. This is the only correspondence since confirmation of receiving my application. Seems as though they are backed up with applicants and it's taking longer than they thought. Fingers crossed though!
I haven't gotten any scholarship information, but they're giving me 2 weeks to submit my intent to enroll. I'll make a decision based on that I suppose.
