    Thank you! I'm pretty sure I am. I'm in the South Bay (San Jose area), so I'll be commuting. From the information session I had there, they said they try to keep classes limited to 2 or 3 days per week, so that makes the commute much less intimidating. If you're thinking of using public transit, I'd recommend trying to be somewhere near a BART station because otherwise getting to SFSU is a little rough.

    I'm like 95% sure. It is my first choice. I kind of want to just like take a day or two for it to sink in, but I'm pretty sure. The only other place I applied is SJSU (my UG school), and they're not posting for a bit. It'll be a commute from SJ, so that's pretty much my only hesitation. I love their program and the professors I've met so far, so I think it's probably worth it

    I think 5 is a good thing. From looking at last year, I saw #12 got in, they just didn't find out until the end of April (I think). Good luck!

    So I had an interview at SFSU on 3/7, and this morning got this email, I'm hoping it's their weird way of saying I got in??? Did anyone else get it?: Your graduate admission application has been forwarded to your intended graduate program for final review. If you have not done so, please submit all academic department application materials (letters of recommendation, statement of purpose, test scores, etc.) directly to the Graduate Coordinator for your intended program. Contact the academic department directly with questions regarding these additional application materials. You may continue to check your SF State Admission Status online at the following website: http://www.sfsu.edu/admit/

    I think it went well! I thought my group worked really well together, but I could see my whole group getting accepted, so its hard to say! I don't know when we'll hear back, but I posted in another section of this forum and someone else said the website said the second to last week in March? Soon I hope! The waiting is killing me! What did you think of the interview?

    Did you go to the interview? If so, did anyone in your group happen to ask when they might let us know? Mine did not, and now I'm kicking myself. Its my first choice so the waiting is killing me!

    Overall GPA: 3.58 CSD: 3.89 Last 60 Units: 3.90 GRE: 146/148/3.5 - Not great but technically good enough lol I applied to SFSU and SJSU. Had an interview at SF on Monday. SJ said they won't send anything out until April.

    Has anyone heard from SFSU? I went to an interview... It was on Monday, so I know it's probably too early... I'm just dying to know!! I only applied to SFSU and SJSU and SJSU told us they won't tell us until April. The waiting is killing me!

    I can tell you SJSU DOES require the GRE. They started with the students applying for fall 2015.
