Just joined the waitlist boat as of today. My only choice, so I really hope to still get in while making plans for what to do if not. Sobbing, drinking copious amounts of vodka, then new plans!

I was getting anxious so I emailed my liaison. She said I could expect a decision early next week. I feel like that would mean bad news, but the one bright streak is there has been such a lull on here other than one or two since that whole batch of Comm Sciences and Counseling decisions. Which makes me think (and hope) they are going alphabetically and English Ed just hasn't been done. Crossing all the things for everyone!

Also, it's spring break next week. Will committees be working on this or do we have another week?

I have the same question about doctoral tuition. Also, as I obsess, err...I mean breezily and only sporadically check my application page and these forums, I see a little bit of pattern by department, but not much. Should I take it as a good sign that I only see one early February acceptance for a doctoral student in my department? Can I make the red "X"s and awaiting appear by sheer force of will? Gah!!!!
