[After the interview]

Hey everyone, so i just wanted an opinion from fellow grad applicants or current Graduate students. I was interviewed close to a month ago for a masters in psychological research at CSULB, MAPR. After the interview, I made sure to send a well written thank you note and the professor replied. I have not heard from the CSULB but Im hearing people are starting to get acceptance & rejections letters from CSULB & other CSU's.

 REASON FOR THIS POST: Should I email back the professor and check in with him that I am still interested in the program and keep my name in his head lol? All opinions from this forum is welcomed! Thanks in advance for your advise

[Rejection Thread!]

Was rejected yesterday by CSUN's Experimental Program.  I Believe it has something to do with the mentors I chose, who were from the clinical program. I am still waiting to hear back from Long Beach State & I still have my backup school as a option.

Given the ridiculous timeline (imo) timeline for school B, it seems like you have three options:

1) Accept School A and go there regardless of what you hear from School B.

2) Accept School A and then retract your acceptance if you get into School B.

3) Decline the offer at School A while you wait to hear from School B.

Personally, I'd go with the first option. If School B is going to potentially wait until September, it sounds like it's an unfunded PhD offer.

I chose to do option 2 because I am waiting for multiple schools answers. I feel like option 3 is too risky.

I was accepted to Cal lutheran, waitlisted for pepperdine, and havent heard from csu's. They tend to take much longer to get back to you

I am applying to 6 various schools in California. 4 are CSU's & two are private. I got into Cal Lutheran for Clinical Psychology. Anyone else waiting for CSU's

I applied to Northridge and SDSU. I'm on the East Coast so I also applied to U Maine, Boston University and Roger Williams.

O wow thats pretty cool! I am actually going on a vacation to Boston next week. Its hard but i guess patience is key lol.

Thank you! I have not. I contacted one of the graduate advisors early in March and she stated, " a couple weeks for the admission committee to review the applications." What schools did you apply to?
