@Thorge ugh. This wait is killing me. I'm afraid I'm not going to hear about any movement until Friday afternoon ?

I was told yesterday that there were 4 unclaimed funded offers. I guess our chances are getting slimmer ?

Waitlisted for funding at Colorado State, Western Michigan, and Ohio University. Reeeeaaalllllyyyy hoping for an offer from Colorado ?

I've heard back from every school now. Accepted to Virginia Tech, Western Michigan, Ohio University, and UNF (North Florida, small MA program). Unfortunately, none of those admittances came with funding packages ? Western Michigan and Ohio both told me I'm on the waitlist for funding and I'm currently on the waitlist at Colorado State. Colorado is my top choice, and it's looking like my best shot at landing funding somewhere at this point, given what the departments have told me, so I'm really hoping a spot opens up. If anyone has the luxury of choosing between Colorado State and another funded offer, remember that you can make a stranger's dream (and perhaps only shot this season) come true! Best of luck to everyone! Now I cross my fingers and hope for good news in the coming week...

This is me lol. I did not anticipate this level of anxiety. I had never been one to constantly check email, but now I freak out too over every single notification. I'm waitlisted at two schools (including my top choice [major anxiety there]), have gotten into 3 (none with funding though), and am still waiting to hear back from another. There's such a variety of emails that could come my way. 9 more days!!! ?

@Atropos I received one of those unfunded offers. One of my POIs contacted me to let me know that I'd been accepted, but that I had also been placed into the top grouping for funding on the waitlist, should any of their initial offers decline. He was extremely helpful and had a lot of positive things to say about my application, so they've made a good impression on me. I don't know if I can bring myself to accept an unfunded offer, but your post will certainly help me in making a decision. Thanks!

Congrats on all of your acceptances, @Paper Moon! I know some people who were in FSU's grad program and they have had only good things to say about it. I'm currently on the wait list at Colorado State, and they're my top choice, so if you plan on declining their offer and you can do so early, please do! You'd be helping me make my dream come true!
