Nothing yet, it was nice to not think about my inbox yesterday but I am already back to inbox-stalking every ~15 minutes. Stay hopeful!

GOOD THOUGHTS TO EVERYONE WAITING TO HEAR BACK AFTER TODAY I am just stalking my inbox because all of my schools have been in contact over email (I don't think I could handle waiting on snailmail!)

UWW has been the only school to keep in pretty good contact, and for that I am thankful because it takes my stress down by a bit. But seriously I appreciate your input and really happy you got in this cycle! Congrats

Yeah, I was looking through previous threads and (I think) I saw two people accept a position to UWW really early in May. Still hopeful, just bummed at the moment.

I know what you mean. This is my second round applying, and I didn't even apply to my alma mater this time around. I didn't realize how small the program was, though. I'll definitely be in contact with admissions about reapplying next year if I don't get in.

Better than a rejection, right? Really trying to stay positive when all I want to do is cry under my covers all day. They gave me until April 22 to reply (I replied ASAP!!!!!!) so I guess that is my next "calendar" date to look forward to hopefully hearing back by?

Just got an email from one of my schools, updating their waitlist: "At this time all the places for the class are filled. While we still are unable to offer you a place at this time, we may be able to offer you a place in the future." fingers crossed for the "future"

Well I hope it goes well for you and you hear sooner rather than later! The housing part is what I'm worried about, too!

Props to you. I would probably be neck deep in a break down if I were you. Would you be able to attend on two week notice?

That is the worst thing I could think of. I would be so heartbroken if I wasn't accepted anywhere until August, because at that point, I wouldn't be able to accept. (I have a contract position that I'm planning to return to at a school district as Plan B if I don't get in this cycle.)

I'm just going off of what I've read on this forum, not personal experience, but I think it's going to be even more of a waiting game, but hopefully a shorter one. I was looking back through last spring's posts and read that someone accepted a position at one of the schools I'm waitlisted at on May 7th! (UGH)

SAME! Three schools. But seeing as people have already heard from some schools is making me sick to my stomach and dread the 15th even more. But I haven't heard any word about waitlists from the three I'm on so silver lining? Good luck, and BTW salty but happy for everyone who got off waitlists already
