  1. i'm leaning sfs bcuz i plan to work in d.c. after graduation, its cohort size, and its job placement in the field I want to go into; state or dod. It will be difficult to decide since I cannot easily disregard SIPA's location nor its seemingly limitless classes and faculty. What are your thoughts? Are you planning to attend any open houses?
  2. Just quietly waiting on some news. I am expecting that the adcom is pretty busy this week and will finalize decisoins by next week.
  3. Found out that I got in after seeing people post on here. Glad itss my day off of work bcuz I was fist pumping for like 5 minutes. Super excited to be able to choose between SFS and SIPA. The wait it over guys!
  4. I actually have not but that is a great idea! My case is a little more complicated because I have to take a break from work, decide on which open houses to attend, and then try to coordinate the travel in between schools.
  5. I feel like I'm between a rock and a hard place waiting for all these decisions to come out. All I can do is twiddle my thumbs as the place tickets fares to attend open house go up and up.
  6. Did anyone apply for early admittance and get a funding package? Did you get a notification?
  7. Do public policy adcoms care about the design of resumes? Do they want just black and white or can we use a little color/gray? Can we have use font size 10 and less than 1 inch margins? It seems that adcoms want an academic cv (research and extra curriculars) with more a more empasis on work experience. I would appreciate it to hear from admitted students too, thanks!
  8. I'll bet it can't hurt to take the class as long as you get a good grade. Perhaps it will also demonstrate that you are now more focused on your studies than in your days as an undergrad.
  9. Hi, I am considering applying to AU's Masters in Public Administration. Its location and program seems like a great fit for me. Could anyone tell me what the program is like? Are the classes predominantly held in the day or night ? What is the typical cohort size? I also am curious if anyone chose did school over any other schools.
