I haven't received any responses during weekends before, but I did receive one on saturday... except it wasn't from grad school, it was a summer internship (I was VERY annoyed). Nevertheless, i don't think this bodes well for other graduate schools' decisions.

April 15... I wish I could be spending entire day lounging in various parts of campus, talking to friends on phone, hanging out w/ buddies at local bar in the night, etc. just happens that Thursdays are my busiest days, ugh

LOL if that's the case, I would click away like a madman whenever possible around the clock, so that I wouldn't need a job or seek financial aid for a LONG time

the quickest i heard back from was a month after I applied (it was a rejection).

I have to agree... with March ending by midnight this Wednesday, I'm not so sure whether admission committee are willing to rush and send out all decisions in next 72 hours...

there's only three days until March ends, and I haven't heard back from three schools still. No acceptances so far...

Well, with only three days of March left, I must agree, April should be it!!! Can't wait any longer, still have to hear back from three schools...

to relieve the tension of waiting, when I'm not going to classes or studying, i watch movies, work out, hang out w/ friends to chat about random topics, play online games, etc. i've also had several dreams in past few days, where i got acceptance to my top choice EXCEPT it was a dream (though it was SO REALISTIC that it scared me). i was so annoyed i punched my mattress 15 times.

no acceptance anywhere at all, mainly because only one school responded with rejection a month ago, and the others ARE STILL NOT TALKING.... SOOO ANNOYING... but then, i have very low chances overall of getting into remaining schools anyway...

we're halfway through march, and yet, except for one school, no word from others... i'm starting to get really tempted to email them.

i lost so much money on just transcript requests alone ($20 per transcript request, absolutely ridiculous!!!) that it gives me shudder even thinking about it.

when i got email from one of the schools (the only school that has responded so far) I closed my eyes for 5 minutes and thought about how much my life would change, how ecstatic I'll be, etc. but then opposing thoughts such as will I get enough funding, would it be affordable for me to attend there, would I actually like it there started racing around my head. after five minutes of complicated thoughts with eyes closed I made a cup of tea, took slow sips, and clicked the message ever so gingerly, and YAAaaayyyy.....huhhhhhh??? it was a rejection.

brings back memories back in high school senior year when i was waiting for last bit of undergraduate application results... now it looks like i might have to endure that experience AGAIN, unless these admission folks pace it up.

just got an email with subject line holding keywords "graduate program" "application" and got SUPER DUPER excited, but it turned out to be one of routine emails from my major adviser, passing out research opportunity infos.... seriously this waiting business is TAKING A BIT TOO FAR!!!
