  1. @surprise_quiche Northwestern is definitely my top choice. The only reason I haven’t officially accepted the offer is because I plan on asking for more money in March. Anybody with any advice on asking for more money at the masters level, I’m all ears! I hear about PhD students negotiating all the time but I’m not so sure about masters students.
  2. @rads712 it’s actually called party of 5. Sorry for that.
  3. @surprise_quiche I found out about northwestern right before Christmas and it’s the masters program for IMC.
  4. I have been accepted to Northwestern and Boston University. I'm done with the process now thank gosh!
  5. I've been watching The 5 of us. It was created in the 90's. 6 seasons long and about 20 episodes per season. Takes up loads of time! Also One Day at a Time was good.
  6. YAY!!!! Somebody else interested in communications. What program have you been accepted to and where are you waiting to hear from?
  7. I'm freaking out waiting! I've been checking the results page like 4 times a day to see who else has heard back from Boston University. With Northwestern, I checked 7 times a day. It's a very long waiting game. I started a new series on Netflix to distract myself
  8. Hello! Field/Program: Communications Schools: Northwestern Medill IMC (integrated marketing communications program) and Boston University Pardee International Affairs program Status: Accepted into Northwestern back in December. Submitted Boston application 14th of January and still waiting to hear back. P.S. I'm pretty set on Northwestern. The campus is really nice and the people were so friendly. Anybody else attending Northwestern, I'd love to hear from you!
  9. Hello, I am currently a junior and my GPA is 3.34 right now. I would like to apply to graduate programs for either demography, museum studies, or communications. I'm on the fence at the moment. I am studying abroad in New Zealand and my concern is that this semester's grades will either keep my GPA the same or bring it down a bit. Seeing as how my GPA is already low at 3.34, would it still be possible to get into a decent school? I would assume that my graduating GPA, or rather my GPA at the time of applying to grad schools, would fall between 3.3 and 3.4.
