  1. Honestly, in my experience, usually if they are decide to give you a spot you hear within 1-2 weeks at most. If you are waitlisted, it is just whenever they get around to it. I have experience in both situations. Those that I was waitlisted for told me a month+ after the interview.
  2. So I am still in shock but I will have to choose between different programs within the area of School Psychology PhD. My future career goals are to pursue academia within a University possibly doing advocacy work/practice on the side. What are good "criteria" (I use loosely because the main factor is who I would like to do research with) to base programs on? I have all the information from interviews/website, but those who are in the field what is something you wished you asked or knew before choosing a program?
  3. Oh sorry I realized that I did not write it properly. I am going for a doctoral interview where it is APA accredited but not NASP approved. The specialist program is NASP approved though. What are the drawbacks from a non-NASP approved program but it is APA approved?
  4. I know I am late to this thread but I just received an interview from a doctoral program in school psychology which is APA accredited and their specialist program is accredited but not their doctoral program....does that change anything?
