Well, we survived another day of waiting.
Not so far... I think we have another 30 minutes - 1 hour until their offices close

Oh, no no no! I know nothing. I was just noticing how there haven't been any notifications (at least on this forum) and I was hoping that meant a big group was being notified. I don't know if that is the case. Maybe they have no countries to notify today *shrugs*
Oh!! Okay. Yeah I figured :/ Sigh or maybe they're just waiting to let em rip with decisions later on...

No additional information should be sent to us in support of your application, as it will have no effect on your status.
I would avoid sending them anything, even if you're just reiterating your interests!

Just to know if it is today...or tomorrow... I wish they just had a date to tell us when. Sort of like the original notification
It is really torture! At this point even a week interval would be nice. My country released 3/29 last year, then 3/18 the year before, and 4/7 the year before that so I'm just basically refreshing every day

Research. I just cannot believe they gave a Fulbright to a rural 39 year old with kids. It took me 10 years to finish my undergrad... guess I'll have to fake it and act like I belong...
Thanks for the congrats everyone!
You do belong! This is what the Fulbright is all about and you've got more real life experience then some of us!
CONGRATS!!!!!!

Even the snow can't distract me from constantly refreshing my email. Yes, logic tells decisions probably won't come for 2 days... but angst and restlessness have overcome logic

I started a blog to basically blog about my Fulbright feels and I must say, it is helping with the stress. I haven't been mentioning to too many of friends my thoughts as march comes along, primarily because I don't want to be needy. Like...no one gets this until they do it.
So I recommend blogging or even just writing in a journal for those who have anxiety or just need a space to vent.
Oh that is awesome! Can you share your blog? If you don't mind Would love to read as I think others would

Only a handful of countries do interviews. Some of the countries list it on their country page on the Fulbright website I believe. You will get an email if they want to interview you though. They just seem to ask you about your project and why you deserve the fulbright. It seems rather simple and they generally last 15 minutes.
Thanks!

Do you guys know how interviews for Fulbright work? Do only certain countries do them? Are they just for ETA or for research as well?

Random question for those recommended... is there like a few extra spaces/commas in the email? Mine has some.. at first I thought it was a cruel spammer
