Glad to know we are all in good company! I had trouble sleeping last night. 
Currently at a 9. Checking my email like mad hoping for a funding update!!

Thank you much! From what I was told, it seems that I'm an alternate for a particular sub-field in the department, so I believe I'm waiting for one or two specific people to accept or decline. I'm trying to stay hopeful but also realistic.

I'd imagine that most schools would take AT LEAST a few days to go through the numbers, decide how many people can be let in from the waitlist, and prepare the emails/documents to send to them. I hope you hear soon though!

Just got off the waitlist at Minot State! This was my first acceptance, so I'm really excited. They had told me they would begin pulling from the waitlist beginning April 15th, but it looks like slots opened up earlier than that. They gave me a deadline for April 15th to accept. 

Agreed, the other school I got into is also super expensive. However, the tuition is slightly slower than my other school which with the cost of living makes it about equal.
So I'm leaning towards it until I know about waitlists. I'd like to figure out how much it would be to commute.

Congratulations!! That must be such a relief to hear back. I'm actually 6th on the waitlist so I feel like it could really go either way. Best of luck to you!

They actually emailed me today offering an assistantship and said a letter should be arriving in the mail soon! I will likely be accepting the offer. I had emailed them a couple of days ago asking about assistantships, and they said I was second on the wait list. If you email and ask, I'm sure they will tell you where you are on the list as well! I hope you hear some good news soon!!

Just chiming in, but I didn't hear back about an assistantship- on the results page someone said they had sent out 11 offers and those people had 2 weeks to decide. When I was emailing the department, they said I was still being considered for one, but I decided I didn't want to keep waiting and holding my seat. So I declined my offer. I really love the location and I think the program is a good one, but like you I just couldn't afford it without a GA position.

Thanks for the info! I thought for sure we would've heard from them this week based off last years results page. I think the blizzard must have caused some setbacks for all the NY schools. Hopefully early next week!

I stalked the results page for a few years back, and every year TC has released decisions before or during spring break. They are on spring break right now so it has been driving me insane that we are not hearing anything! According to their academic calendar offices will be closed tomorrow so I doubt we will be hearing anything until next week.
Personal rant: wherever I decide to go basically hinges on whether or not I get accepted to TC so it is extra frustrating to not know where I stand. Whatever the decision is, I just want to know so I can move on! Ugh.

I just got accepted into New Paltz!!!! This is my top choice so you can imagine how insanely happy I am right now
