    Just received my letter today in Calgary - got offered CGS-D! First time applicant with a score of 17.9 - completely shocked! I didn’t receive any emails from the University of Calgary, just results via mail. I’m finally glad this wait is over and I can actually sleep without having nightmares about SSHRC!

    to those who applied to counselling psychology at McGill - I went to the portal to decline my offer for the internship stream and accept another offer at a different school when I noticed my decision for the project stream changed from "decision made" to "in review" again? I am thinking other students declined their offers and now other applicants are being reconsidered but I wasn't even wait-listed so I don't know why this has changed? Anyone else?

    To the applicants who did not receive any offers from schools I understand your disappointment, frustration, and every other emotion you are are experiencing. This is my third year applying to schools. For the past two years I have been strictly applying to clinical psychology programs as that was always my goal. This year (third attempt), I decided to apply to counselling psychology with CPA-accredited PhD programs, as well as clinical psychology programs. I was shocked when I was invited to interview at New Brunswick for clinical psychology but did not pass the committee's final decision. However, I got accepted into two counselling psychology programs. I always thought that there was no other alternative besides pursing clinical psychology. However, I have learned that a PhD in a CPA-accredited counselling psychology program offers many opportunities and I will ultimately achieve the same goals but using a different path to get there. My advice to those who are considering applying again in the Fall, don't be afraid to consider other possibilities and keep trying because your perseverance will pay off in the end.     Congratulations!! That is great news! So happy for you! All your years of waiting and trying have paid off. A good example to never give up hope!

    Does any else still have under evaluation from uOttawa? I don't really know what to expect with this - I didn't get a follow up from my POI for any interviews and I caved and wrote to them to follow up and havn't heard back either To all those rejected - we all feel your pain.

    Thanks for the info! that's interesting because I have that shown on my ROSI/ACORN. I guess I will have to wait and see if it does change. Was there information as to how long it would take to know the results?

    I feel like its appropriate to write a thank-you email post interview to say you appreciate taking the time to talk with you. I did this and got a very friendly response back and my POI then provided me with more details regarding the admission process which was very nice. I would suggest writing one soon after the interview.

    To check for OISE counselling i went on ROSI and don't see any information on my application and then checked my sgs for uoft and it shows as under review. Anyone else also have this? To those that were accepted, did your status on sgs change to invited? Thanks!

    Do you know if offers for the internship stream have gone out? I see some people put rejections or acceptances but my application still says in review.

    I see on the results section some people received offers and rejections for counselling at McGill, is this for the project or internship stream or both? Thanks!

    Did anyone apply to counselling at the University of Alberta? Or does anyone perhaps know if they conduct interviews? I e-mailed the coordinator and they said that applicants should hear soon but didn't say if there were interviews or not.

    That is completely unfair and makes decisions so much more stressful. They should make an effort to fix this error in a more reasonable time frame. As someone else said, it is likely because its not accredited as the counselling program at Calgary at the masters level is not CPA and also doesn't follow the April 15 deadline. This places students in such a difficult position, hope it all works out for you!!

    Perhaps! Although on the results page there is someone who said they were contacted by email for an interview, so maybe not? This is for clinical psychology!
