The past several years, the EdLD invites were sent out over the course of two days, or exactly three weeks before the scheduled interviews.

Janky, Hard to make sense of it. Seems like you'd be an ideal candidate. Also makes me wonder if I'll reapply. I know I probably will, but this is such an investment in time, energy, and emotion... hard to "get myself up for it," again.

Janky, It's hard to know what they are looking for. I sort of suppose that my lack of work in urban schools worked against me. I have an administrative job offer in a Title I school for next year; makes me wonder if I should take it.

Janky, Harvard was the only one I applied to as well. Pretty bummed, but already thinking about things I could potentially do to maybe make my application stand out for next year. I'm going to give myself the weekend to feel sorry for myself, then regroup.

Really happy for you guys. Very exciting. From what I gather, they didn't do one "mass email blast," so I'm holding out hope that they may be sending some tomorrow. I guess we shall see.

Hey guys. After emailing with admissions, I can confirm that they have in fact started emailing out invitations, though they are not sent out in one email blast. I think they will all be sent out by the end of the day tomorrow. It makes sense. Hey Yogi, what day did they schedule your interview? 23rd or 24th?

I know we have a couple of "insiders" here... anybody want to be my best buddy and find out when they're planning on sending out interview invites to EdLD? It's typically first or second week in February. I'll owe you a beer.

I'm wondering the same thing. Think Thursday or Friday seem like likely candidates.

I hear you, Jank. I find myself getting more pessimistic as the dates get closer. I guess it's pretty foolish to be too optimistic or pessimistic, regardless; we have no clue what they're looking for in any given cohort.

Hey guys. Just reading some of these other threads... how many of you directly contacted or directly mentioned EdLD faculty in your SOP? I did neither.

I have looked all over for that info, too. I'm assuming that they would at least cover some of the expenses, but I honestly have a "cross that bridge when I come to it" attitude. It'd be a great problem to have.

I'd be shocked if this were true for EdLD. On the website, interviews are scheduled for the very end of February.

Janky, last year invited went out the first week in February.

From what I understand, I think the Ed.L.D. interview invite comes via email.
