Received scholarship info exactly 24 hours after decision e-mail.

Received my acceptance from NYU last night via e-mail; however, it did not include a specific mention of scholarship awards. It just said that I will "receive more information in the coming weeks" and that if I have questions about financial aid or my overall package to contact their financial aid dept. If there is a paper acceptance letter on its way, I wonder if more information is included here?

Who has applied for Advanced Standing? How long in between status updates did it take for you to hear back? NYU Albert says that they are 'currently processing my application.'

Who is ready for another week of checking the admissions portals every 10 minutes? For those who have received a decision, how long after your application status updated from 'submitted' to 'completed' did you wait until you received a decision? I am curious, is the timeline the same for everyone or is there truly no way to predict?

Hello, future MSWs! Congratulations to everyone who has received their acceptance so far. Many more to come for those of us who are still waiting! I've applied to advanced standing programs at Columbia, NYU, Chapel Hill and Charlotte. I am planning to use my MSW to pursue clinical licensure and have heard great things about NYU's focus on direct practice. I would like to work with victims and survivors of sexual trauma and human trafficking. I have researched a few agencies in New York that specialize in my interest for field placement, so I would be thrilled to attend either Columbia or NYU. Due to some delays, my checklists were finally complete in the beginning of January. I guess this means I will not receive a decision until much later.. Hopefully there is a seat left for me!
