I didn't get an email. But mid-April?! That's when we would need to accept an offer by! Hoping the same doesn't hold true for all schools dependent on AHRQ funding...

Is anyone else surprised that we seem to be hearing back kind of late? I know a number of people still haven't heard from UNC, it seems like Harvard hasn't gotten back to people since doing some interviews, I still haven't heard from my backup (Minnesota epi) despite getting into better schools. I know they said we would hear by mid-March at the latest, but I had thought we would know by now, especially given the timing on the results page from previous years.

Ah you interviewed for decision science! Yeah I wasn't expecting much because I know they admit so few students - my first choice would definitely be PHS. Best of luck!

Decision science within HPM and Global health & population within PHS. You?

I applied to both PHS and HPM and didn't hear about an interview for either of those, and I'm hoping that's not too dismal of a sign (since I was very much in touch with my POIs before, throughout the application process). But on the results page it looks like neither acceptances nor rejections have been released, so I'm not sure if our chances are decreasing or what.

Anyone heard anything from Harvard?

To be honest I think it's a little bit late, mostly because I know that admission committees are already meeting, and it's important for professors to know your name before coming across your application. I didn't mention anyone in my personal statements that I hadn't already gotten in touch with - like another poster mentioned, goodness of fit is critical in the admissions process. I guess there would be no harm done in reaching out now, but I don't know if it'll make much of a difference at this point.

Congrats on the wait list! Yeah I'm disappointed but I've gotten into other schools so I'll be okay. I was just really impressed with Emory! I remember them saying 8-12 would be accepted so I don't know how many they would put on the waitlist. Surprised they didn't tell you your position on it

Anyone else interview at Emory for epidemiology last week and get an email? I got rejected and I was hoping to find out how many they ended up accepting.

Just received an acceptance to IH at Hopkins (GDEC). Funding offer is lower than other schools but higher than expected from Hopkins.

Do you guys mean for HPM or for PHS?

I'm seeing loads of Harvard on the results page though - for biostats, art history, astronomy...

The advisor assigned to me indicated that to me - I don't think it was because I applied early, just that I was accepted earlier than they usually admit? I'm sure that everyone who applied before the priority deadline is considered for funding!

I was accepted to UNC epi about two weeks ago but they mentioned mine was an early admit. I think it's rolling. I was at Emory epi interviews last week and not everyone there had heard back from UNC yet. I applied November 11

Quick question. On the results page, what do people mean by "GPA is MS" or "GPA is MA"? That the GPA they were accepted with was from their master's rather than undergrad or what?

I called asking about Harvard HPM decisions and she wasn't giving out info for individual programs, just reiterated the March 15 date.

Congrats! Yeah I wasn't contacted for an interview but I had Skyped with quite a few professors back in the fall when I was figuring out my application... it's my top choice so I'm anxious to find out!

I haven't heard back from Hopkins International Health (GDEC) or Harvard GHP. Can I ask where you heard that info on the Harvard GHP decisions - did you call the school? Thanks
