I also applied to PHS at Harvard (haven't heard anything), Hopkins for International Health (haven't heard anything), and Emory (epidemiology, invited for interviews this week). What track of PHS did you apply to?
So I got an acceptance email over the weekend. I think my ranking was something like ID, cancer, repro, and the admission decision didn't specify but I think I was accepted into cancer.
Is anyone else apprehensive about contacting program coordinators about admissions? I am partially because I don't want to seem pushy, but mostly because I'm afraid of getting bad news...
My research interests include vaccines and immunization, HPV and HPV-related diseases, other sexually transmitted infections, vaccine promotion, and maternal immunization - I've found a couple great profs at UNC who seem to share similar interests, so I'm hoping to hear good news soon! How about you?
Has anyone heard anything for Global Health and Population? According to the results a few people have been contacted but I can't tell if those are just for clarification.
UNC epi update - I got an email this morning asking me to upload my updated Fall 2016 transcript. So at the very least, they seem to be reviewing applications, but I'm not sure how long it'll take.
I also applied to GDEC! I haven't heard anything either but I don't think that GDEC does interviews - the tracks all operate differently, like you said.
I haven't heard from UNC yet either but as previously mentioned, someone on the results page did yesterday! I applied to international health at Hopkins and haven't heard back yet.
Just got an email from UW saying that there were unexpected delays in the decision-making process and that they intend to send the notification emails this week for epidemiology.
I haven't heard anything from UW or UNC epi either - which is making me anxious considering we were supposed to hear about UW this week! Has anyone heard from Harvard Population Health Sciences (Global Health and Population) or Harvard Health Policy and Management (Decision Science)?
