At least, I think it's 4. I shadowing a GC from Orlando Health back in August and that's what he told me - he was helping them get the program together and what not. I can't remember if the program director told me that too, I met with her way back in April so idk. Aw man, yeah it would've been nice to meet you! I didn't want to pressure myself too much by choosing March 31st, because my flight from New York doesn't get back until midday on March 29th and my job would be wondering why I'm taking so many days off that week, lol. So the only other option was April 7th =/

@Ellaie that's awesome, congrats!! Yeah, those are two of my main reasons for wanting to go to USF. I actually wanted to go there for undergrad as well but that didn't work out. So I'm really really excited to at least get an interview, I think they're only accepting 4 students so it's nerve-wracking but they're my #1 choice!

@GCFaith92 You sign up for your interview on a poll thing, so you can see all the open slots. There's 3 interview dates and 10 slots for each day, so it's 30 interviews actually.

@GCFaith92 Yep, I live in Clermont, which is about an hour and a half from USF. I had met with the Program Director back in April, the drive wasn't that bad. And I have some friends that are in both undergrad and grad school there. It was in an email, they have 27 people they're interviewing it seems like. And my interview is on April 7th - they offered dates on March 24th (I'll be in NY/NJ for my SLC and Rutgers interviews), March 31st, and April 7th. Hope this doesn't sound creepy lol, but if anyone of you get an interview at USF and need a place to stay, I'm sure my parents wouldn't mind - we have two extra rooms in my house (Florida houses are huge in general). =)

@GCFaith92 My heart is at USF for multiple reasons and my heart is hurting because they've been so silent! ='( But I'm thankful for the interviews I do have. Rutgers is a new program too but they were on top of things, they sent out interviews like, within two weeks of their deadline, lol.

@GCFaith92 oh awesome! Mine is at 9am! I'm pretty sure we'll cross paths at some point during the day =) I'm really nervous about their interview though because it's a brand new program and of course, there's no one to tell us what their interview process is like =/ Hopefully we both get interviews to USF too! I'm *impatiently* waiting for that one. The PTO schedule for March at my job is getting filled so it's making me more nervous...

@SJMcGC Hopefully you'll get a call today! My interview at Rutgers is March 27th and SLC is on March 28th - same day as yours! I have the afternoon interview at SLC - but maybe I'll see you at the meet-and-greet the night before! It'll be a hectic two days for me.

Just got my interview call from Rutgers!! And it just so happens that they had an interview date the day before my SLC one so I only need to book one flight, thank goodness. So excited!

Oh awesome! I have the afternoon one, all the mornings were taken by the time I signed up =/ Luckily my sister only lives 45 minutes away from SLC!

Yep, mine has a "0" under submit too. I guess that's because it's already been submitted and past the deadline, or maybe because the school has already pulled the application. So don't worry too much, I'd just keep checking the status on the website. It's only USF and Rutgers I have left so I'm just "patiently" waiting...

Hey! Did you complete the supplemental application?! I've been checking my status on this site: https://www.grad.usf.edu/sonic3/status.php That's where they say to check your status. I haven't checked SOPHAS in forever and I don't have access on my work computer but I'll check mine on my phone when I go on break. My status on that website says something about me needing to submit a SOPHAS application but when I emailed them and asked they told me that my application is under review and they'll let me know of a decision as soon as they can.

@metabolismo I just noticed that too! I had to do mine on March 28th - I had taken off 4 days from work to go to California for a birthday trip but that's not happening now, lol. But yeah, maybe they're still reviewing applications and sending out interviews.

@Elisheva That could be it! I think I submitted mine the day before the deadline as well, but I never thought they would choose me because I haven't taken Embryology. There also could've been interview dates in April but I didn't check, so maybe you're right =)

I know SLC has sent out interviews already, I think I was probably one of the last people because there were only 3 dates left open when I chose my interview date. As for Rutgers, I know they're reviewing my application this week, and they told me they would have a result for me sometime by the end of this week, so maybe you'll hear back from them this week as well. =)

I took OChem I three times and OChem 2 twice! The 3rd time around for OChem 1 I got an A and the second time for OChem 2 I got a B (I had gotten a C the first time). I think as long as they see that you learned/tried hard =) I just got my interview notification today for SLC, but I think there were only 3 interview slots left when I chose my date (if I was looking at it properly).

Yes, I didn't receive an email but it was on the portal! I'm thinking about doing mine on March 9th, my sister lives in Manhattan so it's really just flight prices I'm worried about.

Sooo does anyone think that Sarah Lawrence will be sending out any more invitations to interview? I tried to call them to check the status of my application, since my application status page hasn't been updated, but they told me to keep checking the portal and I should know shortly. I see that a few of you have already gotten interview requests too, so I'm feeling a little hopeless right now. NEVERMIND just got a notification for an invite to interview!!!! My first one!!!!

I know exactly how you feel. I've only got Sarah Lawrence, USF, and Rutgers left to get interviews from. I'm slowly losing hope. Although I do know Rutgers was reviewing my application yesterday, they sent me an email asking about one of my transcripts. But both Sarah Lawrence and Rutgers are closed today because of the snow storm so at least I'll be a little less anxious today knowing that I can't get any denials from them at the moment.

@GCFaith92 @Ellaie Do you guys know if USF does interviews before they make a decision? I know that seems like a stupid question, but I finally got my email that says my application has been forwarded to admissions for review, but then the next paragraph says: "We will notify you of their decision, and should the department recommend your admission, your application will then be processed by USF's Graduate Admissions Office and an official admission decision will be made. Please know that this comprehensive review process may take up to two months." I don't know if it's just me, but the way I'm reading it is that it goes under review and then graduate admissions just makes a decision. For some reason that makes me even more nervous...

@metabolismo well, I sent them an email today questioning that, because when I realized there was a financial aid tab on the application status page, I had realized I didn't input any FAFSA info. So then I emailed them and they said that they like to give out financial aid awards at the time they make the offer, so although I don't think that means that they won't review it until the info is entered, she did say it was best to do it asap. I wasn't in the country from Jan-Sept 2015 so I didn't file taxes for that year, so they required me to enter my parent's tax info. I'd say just do it as soon as possible =)
