I applied to Berkeley but haven't heard anything yet. Does that probably mean a rejection? I know worrying won't help, but I'd like to have a realistic idea about my chances of hearing good news in the future.
Hey everyone! I went to St. John's College in Annapolis and am applying to PhDs this year ranked about 10-40 (UT Austin, Arizona, UNC, UVA, UCSD, Berkeley, Colorado, and Chicago). My primary interest is normative and applied ethics, with a secondary in philosophy of mind. Just coming on here to commiserate and learn about when we'll hear back! Good luck everybody!
I got a 170Q with 1 wrong out of 40. I wrote up some tips in the reddit post below. I'd advise you to aim for 165+ though and relax if you don't know one or two early on. Too much pressure to be perfect can be paralyzing.
