That’s what I had thought as I’m also a graduating senior, but I panicked for a second and doubted myself.

I already got my reject from Geography, but I hope to still be admitted to the Comparative Studies program, though I'm not very hopeful. I got to visit with Becky Mansfield and Nancy Ettlinger last fall and they were really great. I hope I get the chance to work with Nancy sometime.

So, if you see results of declinations that are a couple weeks old for the program you applied for, should you still be hopeful?

I’m waiting on a student conduct review at UTK because of some 20-year old stupidity, but they said the decision had been made and they’re waiting on the grad school to make their decision. I’m hoping that’s good news since I’m pretty sure they could send a rejection without getting permission from the graduate school first.
(that’s what I keep telling myself while I’m waiting)

Just found out I’m waitlisted for funding at one of my top choices and the only PhD program to which I was admitted (I’m graduating in May with my bachelors). Super sad ???
