That's great! They will like that a lot but I assume they're looking for some science experience as well. Do you have any research experience? Or anything medical related? Have you shadowed any Genetic Counselors? All these aspects combined are what make you a strong applicant. Also, have you taken your GRE's yet? I'm not sure they matter a whole lot depending on your GPA and on the rest of your application but they're definitely a factor.

I honestly think it depends on the application as a whole. I have a really high GPA (above a 3.9) and got rejected everywhere except for one waitlist... I think it's hard to say but they definitely appreciate a 3.6 and above if I had to guess. Good luck applying! Not to scare you off but it's grueling and rewarding at the same time

Oh that's interesting - I wrote that I wanted to confirm and accept my waitlist offer and asked my position on the list. She just said that the list is fluid and should be moving and she'll let me know as soon as they have any info...

@kbash, Happy you're not upset about it... I got 2 rejections as well so I'm waiting on Jefferson but I have a feeling if they didn't contact by now it's a rejection
