Is there any hope of negotiating when you get off the waitlist on April 15? Is it like, "be grateful, you weren't our first choice!" or otherwise more challenging for them to find additional funding so late in the game?
Waitlisted at Illinois State University. "Imaginary waitlisted" at (i.e., still waiting impatiently to hear back from) UIC, U of Penn, U of Michigan, Florida State, and UCSC.
Maybe it's Valentine's Day, or maybe it's the ridiculously expensive application fee, but CUNY limbo has me all in a tizzy -- so much so that I created an account to commiserate with others. Acceptances, waitlists, and now a rejection notified, but still nothing for some of us. ???
