I had the same question, coming from a B.S in psychology, about whether to do a counseling program or MSW. I ultimately decided MSW because there is such a wide array of jobs you can have, including in schools. From my understanding counseling has limited opportunities and is not as in demand.

I just got accepted to GMU's 2 year MSW program! Have you decided to go? Also, have you heard anything about funding?

I received my acceptance to GW on the 24th but I am not sure if they have sent out all of their admissions decisions.
