  1. These are all good tips! However, I would also recommend ask third party for help (that may be a friend, a relative or a proof reading service) - you may have up's and down's with your work, but the look from outside may really help you to understand on which things you should really focus more (let's agree that we can be picky with our own works).
  2. This reminded me of the quote: I do my best proofreading after I hit "send" I'm actually working at a proofreading company and I can say that it's common to make mistakes. Probably it won't matter that much after all (if your SOP is really well-written and structured) but I would still recommend you to ask somene to review your work before submitting: two heads are better than one
  3. Love this topic Recently I've been looking for some tips and found this video which I absolutely LOVED How to: Take the BEST Notes! + Study Tips! However, I can say that I'm handless without one thing: my phone. Because I'm often on the go and I need to make some small notes, it's not possible to grab my textbooks with me. So i found a perfect way to draft my notes with Evernote. Probably that's not new, but still decided to share my experience
  4. Well, everything depends on which services you choose. My friends have been using some good ones that provided a good material. Is it ethical? Maybe not. But when you're short on time or having some other problems to solve there's not a lot of options.
  5. I guess there still are professions that have strict requierments (like bank workers, probably hotels and tourism). But i think as the time goes by and times change soon enough we won't care about being different that much (or it's just me living in the La-La-land :D)
