Do you think it would be helpful after all of this to post openings for tech positions, etc. For example if I get in to grad school, my tech position will open up and I would love to be able to help out as much as I can.

Pitt is done sending out interviews... bummed because I thought this would be a safety school for me.

Ugh I wish they would send out rejections once they know. It's so frustrating to wait for a rejection and hold out false hope...

I know this might be sensitive, but has anyone gotten rejections from the following schools? I haven't been rejected or granted an interview so I'm trying to gauge if I should hold out hope. Got an invite for Drexel University College of Medicine (DUCOM)! It's a smaller program & don't know if any of you applied, but thought I'd throw this in the mix.

So far it looks like all but one school that I've applied to (DUCOM) has sent out interviews, of which I got none. Is it time to give up hope lol?

@TAGC So far I've seen Arcadia and Jefferson. Jeff surprised me because they didn't say it on their website, but on the actual application it specifies that one letter of rec has to be from a GC or a geneticist.

Hey guys! As applications open up I've run into a bit of an issue and was wondering if any of you have had the same problem! So many apps want a letter of rec from a GC or a geneticist, but every time I've shadowed I've only been allowed to do so for a day. My question is, how are you guys getting around this? Are you able to find a program that allows for a longer shadowing/internship?

@Nefelibata I know Jefferson's app is open and I think Arcadia is open as well!
