Exactly what they might do. Fellowships and scholarships could even be incorporated into the admissions letter. Makes for a nice touch for a memorable admissions letter

If they’ve slated 16th March for Financial aid, I highly doubt they’ll converge the two.. they’ll probably release admissions atleast a day before. Which is 15th. Or I could be wrong & they’d want to release both together. So we’re looking at 15th & 16th at the moment.

Name reading on Wednesday. Decisions on Thursday. (very difficult to not mix time zones, I’m in Asia)

Here’s what I think must have went down: > They had planned on releasing results on 14th March (Second Wednesday) as per ritual. > 16th March was the financial aid decisions. Generally comes out in 48 hours too, as per other college’s standard operating procedures. >Then comes the snow storm. Oops. Now they cannot have the name reading. >Harvard is shut for one day & meanwhile Matt is working from home (On what, we might think?). Maybe it’s on Fin Aid. Maybe it’s the next blogs. Maybe it is post admission work. Maybe he’s replying to inquiry emails ffs. >They decide to not keep the ritual and do justice to the process. So name reading will be done tomorrow now. >Hence, final results on Thursday.

As far as I know, financial aid is released within 48 hours of the decision (that’s what NYU did atleast). So maybe 14th is decision day?

The entire section at the bottom with a message is gone. The top left section to navigate messages also shows only “home” now, no “documents & messages” anymore. Anyone on the same boat?

Yes. They have only ASSIGNED the counselor; they haven’t put us in contact with the counselor. This means it’s a grouping technique not a filtering technique. So those of you with no counselors needn’t worry

It’s there at the bottom of your MYFAID login. I got assigned one too. Maybe they have a few counselors assigned to everyone? My counselor’s first name starts with E and second name with A. Anyone with the same one?

Some chap on the gradcafe results forum says accepted to HKS with 10k annual funding on 7th March. Reported it spam. Last blog on entry on HKS says all results will be released at the same time. Good luck all and stay protected from spammers on the forum! xx

I’m curious too. Though if all fellowships are conducting interviews in March first week, they definitely must have been.

As per my observation, it’s the MPA & MPA/ID applicants who have been updated with the counsellor. The MPP applicants are yet to be. This is also because both these courses have separate “teams” to handle it, & if you remember even the grievance redressal Email IDs were different for the two: MPP was appstatus@harvard while for MPA & MPA/ID it was something else. So essentially, nothing to worry about I’m sure!

I totally feel you! I actually read the (uplifting) email & part of me just went “Aww” while the other part was like: “All that is nice, Sir, but I’d have preferred if you’d given me aid instead...”

Yes! Mine also referenced the application meticulously, and was appreciative in general which was refreshing. No aid is still a bummer, so I’ll have to pass.
