For those of us that haven't heard back hopefully we hear back this week with admissions decisions!

Nothing ? I’ve already called two times since I applied 11/30.... but it’s been 4 months!!!! This is ridiculous! I don’t know what to do anymore! I want to call again but I know they won’t have anything new to tell me...

Congrats on Rutgers! Do you mind reminding me what program you were applying for? Possible stats or experience? 
Also, @doctormelody yes I have called twice! Been waiting since 11/30! Wild! Starting to be a big turn off...

I seriously hope *everyone* who applied at the priority deadline hears back this week!

Well everyone, after a good night's rest I have decided not to accept the waitlist offer and I just sent in my deposit to Penn! I just felt my application process was not positive enough to accept an "eh, you'll fit you in if we can" offer and I feel really good about my decision. Plus Penn was just about tied with Columbia in my book if I'm being honest. I'm still going to check in with this forum to see your updates because I'm really invested in everyone's outcomes. We've sort of become a family on here through this torture?

They just sent me an email about some forum and my heart jumped. Why would they tease me like that???

I'm gunna go with they definitely haven't sent out all the acceptances- March isn't even close to being over yet! I have a 3.78 GPA and am finishing up my undergrad at Michigan State. When I met with the advisor of Columbia in December he said I shouldn't worry (even though I totally am) so I am trying to stay positive. I got accepted to the University of Michigan and had to request an extension yesterday. 

Got financial aid info... $18K in scholarships, $3k work study, and the rest is covered in loans. Yikes. 

I got in ? traditional two year, SEA concentration

I got my acceptance today around 5:00p EST 

Ah, thanks for the reassurance! I can imagine how waiting for months on end would do that. I hope you get good news very soon!

online people are waiting, advanced 1 year people are waiting, people from every program appear to be waiting lol

@abswk two year residential! the wait about killed me 

OK i called again....lol..... she said they cant give any details other than they are working through priority applicants and to be safe she said we will hear within 2 weeks. No use in calling anymore... we must practice patience! (easier said than done!)

I’m bumping this post up bc i needed to reassure myself lol. 

I had called I believe two weeks ago (maybe 3) at this point and she had said within 2-3 weeks all priority applicants would hear. She assured me no responses have gone out based on application stength. Only based on date of submission and concentration. So don’t lose hope! 

If what they told me was true when i called... she said rejections have been sent out and they are going based on concentration and date of submission. I also applied priority on 11/30 for advanced standing but for clinical practice and still have not heard....  im really hoping by today or tomorrow.  

I agree! I just think the pros outweigh the cons that I've heard. It lines up with everything I'm looking for so even though I hate this wait, I'm still hoping hard for an acceptance!

I just received my acceptance to Columbia about 10 minutes ago!! I am an Advanced Standing in person candidate in the policy track.

Well I can't speak for anyone else but this doesn't deter my decision. If I get accepted, I'll be attending. I'm frustrated that it's taking this long, but at the end of the day the program's emphasis is exactly what I want, it's in the city I want to be in, and it will place me in front of the kinds of connections I want to make. I'm used to dealing with disorganization, but as long I get a placement (don't really care where) and my professors respond to emails in a timely manner then I'm fine. I never was one for a need for constant one on one attention.

I called and the representative was very helpful, I asked a lot of questions... she said that all responses are going out in order of program and submission date. She said if people have been hearing back and you submitted before them, they did not apply for same program as you. Online and 2 year programs have heard back the most. Advanced standing has most batches to work through. She said all decisions have been sent out by date and program order and has nothing to do with strength of application. She said 2-3 more weeks for everyone to hear back from all programs. 

LOL THIS IS SO REAL.
